Spectacular views by the lake
Angela and Brian were incredibly welcoming hosts, serving delicious homemade meals and providing insightful tips for local attractions. The scenery surrounding the hotel was breathtaking, especially the views over the lake.
The dining area felt a bit chilly, which detracted from the overall dining experience.

stunning mountain scenery, cozy bar with local ales, dog-friendly atmosphere
The entire building really needs a complete refresh!!! Old, breezy windows, inadequate phone and hairdryer facilities, and low coffee supplies create a less than stellar experience. A chilly dining area without proper heating detracts from the overall stay!!!

Breakfast was a highlight—those sausages were absolutely banging! Plus, the hosts were warm and engaging, really making you feel at home. The views over the lake were simply stunning!
The dining area could use a bit of a cozy touch, but honestly, with a backdrop like that, who cares? It still felt cheerful and inviting during our stay!

I stayed in a Double Room and it was super cozy! The views out of the window were just stunning—like a postcard! The bed was comfortable, perfect for winding down after a day of hiking. Plus, breakfast was really tasty with those local sausages. A tiny downside? The room could use a bit more charm, but honestly, the atmosphere made up for it.

The stunning views over the lake took our breath away, and we loved exploring Dolgellau, a lovely small town nearby filled with outdoor fun. The hosts created a welcoming vibe, and the comfortable Twin Room made our stay even more enjoyable with fantastic homemade dinners.
My wife says that a play area for the kids would have been great.

Stunning views of the lake and mountains make for an unforgettable backdrop. The local meat served at breakfast stood out, particularly the sausages, boasting exceptional flavor. the hospitality fell short during a slight mishap with access to the beer garden, where the response was unexpectedly aggressive. Given the neglected state of the area, it felt disappointing alongside the otherwise warm hosts.
